Stringer Layout at Landing Difference

In this picture we are showing you how to adjust the height for 1 -1/8 inch thick stair treads while using 3/4 inch thick plywood for your stair landing. In between the arrows is where you will subtract 3/8 of an inch from the bottom of your riser height.

Example: If you have a 7 - 5/8 inch rise you will have to make it 7 - 1/4 inch rise at the bottom.
